Mama is a sewing machine.

Last night I started (and completed) the Amy Butler Nappy Bag. I LOVE it. It has seven interior pockets and a cell phone pocket on the strap. It's made of fabulous birdie fabric and lined with big peony flowers. It's fantastico. Here are my most favorite Eli pants to date - Elvistravaganza.Crawling Mowgli style to the play ground - in his Elvis pants.Swinging big boy style. He crawled all over the big play thing. He even went up the steps and down the slide solo for the 1st time.

I think he has suction cups on his feet.Big kids are funny.Turtle vs. Deer standoff.
Turtle snuggle with Dad.
Lunch on the deck.
Winter is thinking about arriving. We have snow one day, seventies the next. So we're layering a lot these days. Eli's a vision in green.

um... jessa? i think we're the same person. not only are we both addicted to sewing crazy pants, and not only did we both pick out the same oliver + s jammie pattern, i ALSO bought the amy butler nappy bag pattern (next on the list to make), AND, mccool also has those peace pajamas. i'm so glad to get the good reviews on these patterns before i attempt them! i made the oliver + s pajama top today, so hopefully i'll tackle the pants tomorrow...

I think it is especially great that you made Eli Elvis pants considering his grandma sent a card announcing Eric's birth to Papa Smith that listed his name as "Elvis Presley Smith!" He ranted for quite a while until she finally admitted it was a joke.

Mowgli-style? Silly, he can't crawl yet, he was only born yesterday! Oh wait. You're probably talking about Mowgli from the Jungle Book, not Ashley and Pete's new baby.

I hope you have a metric tonne of fabric and stuff come December 27, because you will be holding a sewing class to teach me to make stuff!

There probably should have been a "please" in there somewhere. =0)
