Today Eli and I had big post-morning pre-afternoon nap plans for a playground and library trip. After groggily trying to get out of the morning nap fog with little success, I decided we should just stay home and go out into our very own woods and explore. So we velcroed on his new keen baby hiking boots, and off we went.
Oh, but first, some antics from earlier in the week. Eli's 1st toilet paper extravaganza.

Now, off to explore. First, the deck, where mostly Eli explored his strange new footwear.
We hiked on down to the race car swing.
Who needs the park? We have great fun right here in our own (rented) back yard.

I kept cringing during the video as I felt certain you were gonna have a head-on collision with the car swing.
He is too cute...eat him up while you can because they grow up way too fast!

Jessa, you are such an awesome Mom! Eli is having a BLAST. I love that backyard, what a perfect afternoon outing. Gotta see those Keens up close. Let's get these boys together again soon!!!
