Too Excited to Wait

Since we had our October baby, Halloween has become our favorite holiday around here. We've been pondering his costume for months. We considered Yoda, also Rubber Ducky (Mom would be Ernie, Dad would be Bert), but today I found a sweet, well-made and really fuzzy warm costume. So, in honor of Yaya and her tortoises, for Halloween, Eli shall be...a sea turtle!
The hat works on its own.
And it keeps his ears warm.
We're in the Halloween spirit already around here. We are working on plans for Eli's 1st birthday too! He turned 11 months today and next month we'll celebrate his birthday at the Denver Botanical Gardens Pumpkin Festival with all his baby friends! We're so excited!

wow! That is a really neat costume! He's going to get lots of candy with that. (my kids think you will only get extra candy if your costume is the best!)

Yay for Halloween babies!

Lucas's bday is Nov. 4th. We can't wait to have a halloween costume party to celebrate, either this year or the next (when he can appreciate it)! It's good that Eli understands that kids need more than one excuse to wear those costumes more than once!
