The epidural is in...Jessa says to mention that T Stanley was right.
The pain got to be pretty unbearable, and the staff all thought she was ready to push, but when they checked she was only 6cm...too small to push. She was ready to push, but it would have been bad to push, so the epidural was kind of necessary to keep her from pushing too soon.
So for now we're chilling, watching Jessa grin.

I don't know what contractions feel like, but if you've been crying I've been doing a good bit of sympathy crying. I'm wander around the office, randomly crying. When asked why, I just answer..."my friend is in labor."
this is so exciting!!!!! thanks for the updates. jessa, isn't the epidural fabulous????? maybe you can rest now for the big finale! i'm joining the fan club of folks who cannot leave their computers.

OK, now I feel like I might consider this whole labor thing...if Jessa says do the epidural, then it must be OK!
